Is it safe for my pets?
It is formulated to be gentler on paws than traditional rock salt when used as directed. No ice melt is meant to be eaten, so wipe paws after walks and store the container out of reach.
How do I pre-treat my driveway before snow?
Spray a light, even coat on clean, dry pavement before snow or freezing rain arrives. It helps keep ice from bonding, so snow comes up with the shovel.
Is liquid ice melt better than granular?
Liquid is already in solution, so it starts working the moment it hits the surface instead of waiting for granules to dissolve. It also leaves no granules to track indoors.
Can I use it on new concrete?
Do not use any deicer on concrete less than one year old, or on concrete that is cracked, spalled or poorly sealed. On sound, cured concrete, apply a thin, even coat and sweep up leftovers.
How much liquid deicer do I need?
Follow the application rate on the package. A light, even coat works better than soaking the surface.

Can I buy by the pallet?
Yes. Pallets ship by LTL freight and the rate depends on your delivery address, so we quote it rather than guess. The product price is the same price everyone pays, whether you buy one pail or a pallet; only the freight is quoted. Request a freight quote and we will come back with a delivered price.
Can I pick up at the warehouse?
Yes, by arrangement at our Williamstown, New Jersey warehouse, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to noon, Eastern. Contact us first so the warehouse can pull your order.
Can I return it?
Unused, unopened product in its original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Opened bags and pails cannot be returned. Read the full return policy.
