Ice Melt Direct is an online supplier of ice control, water treatment and specialty salt products. We ship directly from our warehouse at 1287 Glassboro Rd, Williamstown, NJ 08094. Ice Melt Direct is operated by Home and Country USA, LLC d/b/a Ice Melt Direct.
We started with ice melt, and the store now carries every kind of salt. Our goal is simple: help you find the right product for the job, price it the same for everyone and get it moving from our warehouse.
What We Sell
Every product sits in a collection built around how you use it:
- Ice melt for driveways, walkways, steps and parking areas.
- Rock salt (halite) for budget melting in milder cold.
- Calcium chloride ice melt in pellets and flakes for deeper cold.
- Magnesium chloride ice melt and blended ice melt for a middle ground between price and performance.
- Pet-friendlier and concrete-friendlier ice melt, gentler on paws than rock salt when used as directed.
- Liquid ice melt for pre-treating before a storm.
- Commercial and contractor ice melt for lots, routes and facilities.
- Water softener salt: solar salt crystals, pellets, rust remover formulas and potassium chloride.
- Pool and spa salt for salt chlorine generators and salt water hot tubs.
- Livestock and mineral salt, including salt blocks, trace mineral salt and small animal spools.
- Deer minerals and salt licks. Always check your state regulations before putting out minerals or licks.
- Specialty salt: dishwasher salt, bait salt, canning and pickling salt, ice cream salt and Epsom salt.
Who We Serve
We serve homeowners, property managers, snow removal contractors, municipalities and facility managers across the country. Some customers need one pail for the front steps. Others need a full pallet for a season of storms. We handle both the same way.
How We Ship
Orders placed by 2:00 PM Eastern on a business day leave our warehouse that day by ground carrier. Orders placed after 2:00 PM, on weekends or on holidays go out the next business day. Ground delivery typically takes 1 to 5 business days after your order ships, and transit times are estimates.
We ship to all 50 states. We do not ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses, and Alaska and Hawaii may cost more. Shipping is charged per item and shown at checkout. Local pickup at our Williamstown, NJ warehouse is available by arrangement only, so contact us first. See shipping and delivery for the full details.
One Price for Everyone
Everyone pays the same product price, whether you buy one pail or a full pallet. Homeowners, contractors, property managers and towns all see the same price. There are no contractor tiers and no volume discounts, and there are no minimums on bag orders.
Bulk and Pallet Orders
Pallet and bulk orders ship by LTL freight. The product price stays the same, and we quote only the freight to your address. Freight transit typically takes 1 to 10 business days. The carrier schedules a delivery appointment, delivery is curbside, and a lift-gate is available for an extra fee.
